| Joe Bai |
Joe Bai has more than twenty-five years experience in information technology. Joe has served as the Chief Information Officer of The CarbonNeutral Company, FUN Technologies, and World Winner where he was responsible for all aspects of technology development and operations. He was responsible for North American operations as well as development and systems engineering services at City of London Telecommunications Group Plc. (COLT). Prior to COLT, Joe was the Chief Technology Officer at Adero where he built and managed network and systems in more that thirty counties and has extensive experience with multi-currency and multi-lingual web platforms. Joe held a number of key positions at Fidelity Investments including the Director of development for Fidelity.com, Vice President of network and systems Engineering for retail online trading, head of Internet firewall services, and lead network engineer. Joe has his Ph.D. in Theoretical Nuclear Physics from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and a B.A. in Physics from the University of Florida. Recently Joe has earned his private pilot license and is working toward his instrument rating. Joe has spent the last twenty years architecting and developing some of the largest, most secure, responsive and reliable technology platforms in the world. He has a history of partnering closely with the business owners developing predictive models for application, systems and network performance as well as revenue modeling. |
| Jon Erickson | Jon is a managing partner and co-founder of Big Yak Technologies. Jon is also a co-founder and and advisory board member to OnCorps. Jon was a venture partner at Fidelity Ventures as well as the chief network architect for Fidelity Investments, where he was responsible for the strategy and technology of the Fidelity’s enterprise network. He was also the Vice President of Engineering and part of a world-class engineering team that built Fidelity.com in the mid 1990s. Fidelity.com is now one of the world’s largest online brokerage systems. Jon was also the Chief Technology Officer of COLT Internet in London, England, where he was responsible for the strategy and direction of COLT’s Pan European Internet business. During this period COLT Internet’s managed hosting service grew to 23 data center locations and turnover grew to £120M. Jon is also the founder of Parlerai Inc.the world’s first Augmentative Collaboration service.Having a daughter with special needs, Jon and his wife, Kristin, decided to apply next-generation technology and service and created this much-needed capability for families and children with special needs. Parlerai provides online collaboration and social networking services for families with children having special needs.Jon is also a the treasurer and a member of the board of directors of AbilityPLUS. AbilityPLUS offers access to athletic and recreational opportunities for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities to create freedom, promote independence, support inclusion and help those individuals and their families discover their full social, emotional and athletic potential.

| Kristin Erickson | Kristin is a managing partner and co-founder of Big Yak Technologies.Kristin is also the founder of Parlerai Inc.the world’s first Augmentative Collaboration service. Kristin’s experience raising a child with special needs created the vision for Parlerai – an Augmentative Collaboration service combining social networking, touch screen technology, augmentative communication, consumer driven services and cloud computing to benefit children with special needs.Kristin and her husband, Jon, decided to apply next-generation technology and service and created this much-needed capability for families and children with special needs. Parlerai provides online collaboration and social networking services for families with children having special needs.Kristin holds a bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College. She has a background is in commercial insurance – specifically surety and experience with property & casualty.
Particularly known for leadership, creativity, organization skills, and customer service, she also serves on the board of the Scituate C.O.R.S.E Foundation, a non-profit organization established to raise funds enhancing and providing the highest quality educational experience for students with special needs. Kristin and her family live in Scituate, Massachusetts. |
